Commerce City Rotary Receives Two Rotary International Presidential Awards.

This year RI President Kalyan Banerjee developed two separate awards to fulfill his goals.

The ChangeMaker Award recognizes Rotary clubs that made an extraordinary impact during 2011-12 through their work in the Avenues of Service.  Clubs were invited to undertake a challenging array of activities in each avenue, with the goal of making positive and significant changes in their communities and in their world. 

The Presidential Citation recognizes the importance of both membership and continued support of the Rotary Foundation, RI President Banerjee has established the following criteria for recognition during 2011-12.  These actions and criteria support the priorities and goals identified within the RI Strategic Plan: strengthen clubs, increase humanitarian service and enhance public image.

The Rotary Club of Commerce City was one of three Clubs in District 5450 that achieved both Presidential Awards.
